Cortney "Fett" Fettinger was born in Huntington, IN. He moved to Fort Wayne as a young adult to pursue an education at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne where he earned a BFA in Graphic Design. Fett has always been an artist with a passion for tattoos which naturally lead to him becoming a tattoo artist. He began tattooing in 2002 in Fort Wayne. Fett specializes in American Traditional tattooing. Influenced by tattooers like Sailor Jerry and Ed Hardy, Fett follows a philosophy that building a tattoo with bold line work, black shading and bright colors will result in a tattoo that will hold for the wearer's lifetime. He has achieved the Alliance of Professional Tattooists' "Certificate of Tattoo Mastery," an accomplishment that displays a wealth of knowledge in many aspects of tattooing from proper sterilization practices and preventing disease transmission in tattooing (PDTT) to pigment mixing, needle making as well as tattoo machine building and tuning. He is the owner and operator of Tattoo Fort Wayne. Fett resides in Fort Wayne with his wife April, his son Mars and three dogs.
